CalFresh, known federally as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP, provides monthly food benefits to individuals and families with low-income and provides economic benefits to communities.

WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. WIC provides free healthy foods, breastfeeding support, nutrition education and referrals to other services, to support you and your family.

CalWORKs enrolled participants may enroll in the Refugee Employment Program to meet the welfare-to-work requirement and receive supportive services in the areas of Mental Health, Domestic Violence and Substance Use Disorder. 

Medi-Cal provides comprehensive health coverage for children, families, adults without children, pregnant persons, seniors, persons with disabilities, teen services, former foster youth and incarcerated individuals.

Mental Health Services provided through the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health include assessments, case management, crisis response, medication, peer support, and rehabilitation. Care is offered in diverse settings, from clinics and schools to homes and field locations. The department also offers counseling for disaster survivors, their families, and first responders. Their help line is available 24/7 to provide mental health support, resources and referrals at (800) 854-7771.
