The Homepage Template is used to create http://dpss.lacounty.gov. The Homepage template is only intended for home pages of the site, which are the top level pages users enter the site into for each language. For English, this is /en.html, while for Spanish this is at es.html
The Content Page Template is an open template that does not include a banner and can be used to create variety of pages. In the Staging site, this includes form pages, event pages and the search-results page. Authors have the most flexibility with Content pages because aside from the inherited header, breadcrumb, and footer; there is no default content.
The Category Page Template is used to create category pages. Category pages highlight all programs and services in a category. An example is the Cash Assistance Category Page which would contain a card describing all the cash assistance programs including: CalWorks, General Relief, CAPI, SSIMAP, EBT and REP.
The Category Page Template Banner includes a list of questions that customers might have regarding that category, and would link to different program pages or program detail pages.
An experience fragment containing the Content Banner component should be created under /content/experience-fragments/dpss hierarchy. Once created, the experience fragment should be added to the experience fragment section of the template. This is a one time process and will ensure all Category pages have the same banner type.
The Program Page Template is used to create program and services page. These pages include a How To Apply section and should contain links to program detail pages.
The Program Page Template Banner includes the program title and a brief description.

Once created, the experience fragment should be added to the experience fragment section of the template. This is a one time process and will ensure all Program pages have the same banner type.
The Detail Page Template is used to create program and services details pages. These pages can include a variety of components.
The Detail Page Template Banner includes the page title.

The News Page Template is used to create news articles.
The following properties can be authored through page properties which will be used on homepage newsfeed and news list components.
News title can be authored in the page title field on the basic tab. Once the page is created using news detail component, author can open page properties and add the page title property to make it as news title.
Page Title: Page Title will be used as title on the news detail page headline
DPSS Tab: This tab is a custom tab for DPSS and contains below properties for authors to manage.
News Blurb: Field to author news blurb to be displayed only on news list/archive component.
Thumbnail Tab:
Authors can add content on the page using any other available content components - like Text, Image, Carousel etc.
