Expiration of the Los Angeles County's COVID-19 Tenant Protections

Los Angeles County’s COVID-19 Tenant Protections (formerly the LA County Eviction Moratorium) which provided eviction protections to residential tenants affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in LA County, ended on March 31, 2023.  This means that effective April 1, 2023, LA County’s COVID-19 Tenant Protections are no longer in effect.  If you are facing a potential eviction and/or homelessness due to the end of LA County’s COVID-19 Tenant Protections, DPSS may be able to help you.
