If you are participating in the GROW Program and are between the ages of 18-24 years old, you can get a job working for Los Angeles (LA) County Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) at a County park.
No Experience Necessary!
The “Work for the LA County DPR” Program allows youth to work at a participating County park that offers many recreational and health-promoting social activities to the local community.
If selected for a park position, you will be working as a Recreational Leader or Ground Maintenance staff and get paid $15.00 per hour. The Work for LA County DPR Program offers flexible work hours Monday through Saturday. To be selected, all interested youth must pass a Criminal Background Check, which can be attended in-person or virtually (online) and complete the required training.
To learn more about this exciting opportunity and apply, contact your GROW Case Manager.
If you have been scheduled a Criminal Background Check appointment, you need to download the form below, complete and sign it.
