Pathways to Success
Pathways to Success (PTS) component is a four-week job readiness and job search activity designed to provide GROW Transition Age Youth (TAY) participants, ages 18 to 24 years old, with pre-employment and life skills training and support.
The goal of this program is to empower these youth to become independent and self-sufficient by helping them identify their short and long-term career goals, through job development, career planning, education and goal setting. TAY participants assigned to this component attend workshops designed to promote life skills development, work- readiness, financial planning, and job retention.
- The class teaches TAY participants how to create resumes, prepare for job interviews, and manage their time wisely.
- In addition to available County Programs and resources, representatives from local community partners present available resources for the youth.
