Los Angeles County Homeless Initiative Launches a New Website
The Los Angeles County Homeless Initiative has launched a new website to share information about the collective efforts to combat homelessness in the nation’s second largest county.
Nearly 47,000 men, women, and children are homeless on any given night in the county.
In February 2016, the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a landmark initiative that represents the most comprehensive effort ever to combat homelessness. The initiative aims to attack the root causes of homelessness and lift thousands of families and individuals out of homelessness and into better lives.
The new website contains information on the Homeless Initiative, including real life stories of those whose lives have been transformed, quarterly progress reports, and educational information.
