A Process Assessment reviews an existing process, or a newly introduced process subsequent to new technology implementation, and prior to process validation. It is conducted through the systematic collection, review, and use of information to validate a successful operation, or make recommendations for a change to increase effectiveness and efficiency. Assessment types include financial, operational, departmental, and informational.
Service Request Protocol
The requestor’s Bureau Director must submit a written request to the Director of Bureau of Special Operations. The study request must include:
- The requestor’s contact information (Program, Unit, Section, Division, Bureau name)
- The process/function to be studied
- The objective/goal of the study
- Expected study completion date
The Director of Bureau of Special Operations will review the request, and forward it to MRS for further evaluation.
