County of Los Angeles Green Leadership Awards (GLA)

The County’s Green Leadership Awards (GLA) have been established as a forum to  recognize outstanding environmental achievements by California government.  All nominated projects must be publicly financed and executed, or created in a public-private partnership, and must have provided a measurable benefit to the natural or human environment.

American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) Southern California Chapter

American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) Southern California Chapter – ASPA is the leading interdisciplinary public service organization that advances and promotes the value of the art, science, teaching, and practice of public and non-profit administration through networking and professional development opportunities.

The Southern California Chapter encompasses the entire public administration community, embracing the wide range of professionals who administer the public trust. The awards recognize individuals and organizations that have made a significant and sustained impact in the field of Public Administration in both the professional and academic realms.

National Association of Counties (NACo)

The National Association of Counties (NACo) Achievement Awards is a non-competitive program, which recognizes outstanding innovative county government programs and services in 19 categories covering a vast range of county responsibilities.

California State Association of Counties (CSAC)

California State Association of Counties (CSAC) honors the most innovative programs developed and implemented by California Counties through their Challenge Awards.  These unique awards recognize the innovative and creative spirit of California county governments as they find innovative, effective and cost-saving ways to provide programs and services to their citizens.

American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) – IT Solutions Management (ISM) for Human Services

American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) houses several health and human service disciplines, whose members are the administrators that operate agency divisions or departments in the states and localities and for the most part report to a commissioner. The affinity groups cover a range of program specializations as well as support functions.

The IT Solutions Management (ISM) Awards for Excellence in Human Services Information Technology, give national exposure to collaboration across boundaries, best use of technology for operations, best use of technology for customers and excellence in individual leadership in the application of information technology in support of state and local government health and human services.

Productivity and Quality Awards (PQA)

Productivity and Quality Awards (PQA) are for Individual and collaborative departmental productivity and quality improvement efforts deserving recognition by the Board of Supervisors, Chief Executive Office, Quality and Productivity Commission, and the public.

American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) – American Association of SNAP Directors (AASD)

American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) houses several health and human service disciplines, whose members are the administrators that operate agency divisions or departments in the states and localities and for the most part report to a commissioner. The affinity groups cover a range of program specializations as well as support functions.

The American Association of SNAP Directors (AASD) wishes to recognize the individual, State and collaborative partners in the human services field that work tirelessly to modernize policy and procedures, improve program performance outcomes, and transform SNAP for a new generation.

American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) – National Association of State TANF Administrators (NASTA)

American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) houses several health and human service disciplines, whose members are the administrators that operate agency divisions or departments in the states and localities and for the most part report to a commissioner. The affinity groups cover a range of program specializations as well as support functions.

The National Association of State TANF Administrators (NASTA) wishes to recognize the individual, State and collaborative partners in the human services field that work tirelessly to modernize policy and procedures, improve program performance outcomes, and transform TANF for a new generation.
