Cookie Settings for Internet Explorer 6.x

These instructions apply to Internet Explorer version 6. Previous versions of Internet Explorer will need the same settings, but the instructions to make the required changes will be different.

To check which version of Internet Explorer you have, select "About Internet Explorer" from the "Help" menu at the top of the browser.

About Internet Explorer Dialog Box

To set your browser to support cookies, select "Internet Options" on the "Tools" menu. Click on the "Privacy" tab.

Next, click on the "Advanced" button to access the Advanced Privacy Settings dialog box. Ensure that the "Override automatic cookie handling" box is checked. Ensure that the "Always allow session cookies" box is checked. The handling of First-party and Third-party cookies is a matter of personal preference. A setting of "Prompt" will result in a dialog box appearing each time you access a site wanting to set a cookie.

You may need to make additional changes for the handling of cookies for individual web sites. Click on the "Edit" button on the "Internet Options" dialog box, on the "Privacy" tab. The following "Per Site Privacy Actions" dialog box should come up. Check for entries for ladpss.org and 170.208.17.248. If either of those sites are set to "Always Block", remove them or ensure that they are set to "Always Allow".
