Community Service Question

Question: Can a participant who is assigned to community service also be assigned to a short term training activity if there is a need for the participant to gain additional skills needed to perform the community service component? For example, if a participant is assigned to community service in an office performing clerical duties but does not have any computer skills, can they be assigned to a short-term training to acquire the computer skills?
		Answer: Yes, a participant can be assigned to short term training (6 months or less) concurrently with the community service component if the training will help the participant gain the necessary skills to perform their community service component.
