"The attached policies are specific to the GAIN program, but given that similarities between GAIN and REP are substantial, Contractors will be able to surmise the complexities and depth of the Refugee Employment Program from these documents. Policies specific to the REP program are forthcoming and will be made available at the time of implementation."

GRFS #2007-01 General Relief Employability Screening Services |
| |
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services invites proposals from organizations to provide employability screening services for General Relief (GR) applicants and participants. A GR applicant who states he/she is unable to work is required to have verification of the disability which prevents him/her from being employed. These services are needed in all areas of the County. In order to maximize the efficient delivery of employability screening services, the County has been divided into eight regions. Proposals will be accepted for one region, multiple regions, or all eight regions.
Interested organizations that have five or more years of experience in providing employability screening services are invited to submit a proposal. Proposers must attend a Mandatory Proposers’ Conference to be held on February 12, 2007.
