TB TEST(S) RESULTS |
|
In order to protect children against Tuberculosis (TB - a highly contagious disease), you and everyone in your home who is age 18 and over (including any assistants) must get a TB test. This can be done at a doctor's office or at a public health or community clinic. The results of the TB test for all household members must be included in your application. |

ORIENTATION CERTIFICATE
The orientation certificate is good for six (6) months from the date of issuance. |

CPR/FIRST AID/HEALTH AND SAFETY CERTIFICATION
You may contact your local Resource and Referral agency for places to obtain your certification. There is an approved listing of accepted agencies from which you may choose. If you find an agency on your own, make sure you check with your Resource and Referral agency to check if they are on the list of accepted agencies. |
The law states you are required to complete a 15-hour CPR/First Aid/Health and Safety Course and obtain certification to be a licensed Family Child Care Provider.

How Much Will It Cost?
If you attend the training at your Resource and Referral agency, the usual fee is $10.00; however, if can run as high as $70 if you attend a Red Cross training course on your own. |
