The County Fiscal Letters (CFLs) are used as formal written communication from the California Department of Social Services with county welfare departments and other agencies. CFLs provide details for program allocations and provide time study and claiming instructions for counties.

The Notice of Form Change (GEN 127) provides information and special instructions from the California Department of Social Services on how to administer forms and/or dispose of forms used by county welfare departments and other agencies.

Medi-Cal Eligibility Letters, Rules and Procedures |
The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) provides agencies with All County Welfare Director’s Letters (ACWDLs) and Medi-Cal Eligibility Division Information Letters (MEDILs) regarding new or changed policies and/or procedures used in determining eligibility for Medi-Cal benefits. DHCS also issues Medi-Cal Eligibility Procedures Manuals (MEPMs), which provide clarification on policies and procedures for making eligibility determinations for the Medi-Cal program.
